a Week before Ramadhan

don't get tired of me yet, people.
me, with a whole pack of roasted peanut in my right hand, is still planning to write some more.

Yep, I spent the last week before Ramadhan by working hard, playing hard and spending hard. Ha Ha

copied the format of my previous post, let me start from...MONDAY

its still the beginning of a new week but my sister and I spent 3 hours, singing at the karaoke right after we finished the work. And there were also 4 other girl...oops, women with us and we were all so euphoric!! I got back at around 11 pm.

btw, I used to spend my time going to karaoke when I was in Japan, and when I started to step my feet in Indonesian karaoke, I noticed something. and I think its pretty much related to the human behavior or human sense.

1. to heat up the atmosphere, girls/women usually start by singin... the latest hit songs. its common everywhere, i guess. they sing the song that people love to sing these days and became a huge trends (both in a good and bad ways) at the moment. for examples, what is happening in Indonesia today, to start the engine, they will sing "I heart You" by SM*SH or "Cinta Satu Malam" by someone I dont know and I don't really wanna care. and for the foreign song, they will start by singing familiar song hat everybody can sing along, like Lady Gaga or Rihanna.

2. after 2-3 songs, we can see the characteristic of each person. korean freak will start to dominate the list by korean hit songs like "Nobody" "Gee" and "Sorry Sorry". and they will get the satisfaction if they succeeded in reading the korean lyrics perfectly.
japan lovers will also start to sing an old famous song, and/or song that only few people in her group know. some people try to sing along, some people seem to enjoy the song, and some people just can't wondering when the song will end.

3. to show off their 'gold voice', women often pick Mariah Carey or Alicia Keys to prove that they can sing. tips: better listen to them coz they want you to listen to them.

4. and yeah... sometimes women also sing a song about their ex, and will add some short opening speech at the beginning and do the intermezzo by remembering or telling the stories about their ex. and some of them even cries. so guys, listen and prepare tissues.

*NOTE i'm not really sure about guys going to karaoke. any stories?

ah... too much about Karaoke. move on to TUESDAY...

I forgot! I did nothing on that day.

I attended an anniversary of a Japanese Alumni Association with my senior and my Uni Alumni too. I dont really care about the people at the beginning coz I just wanted to see my senior's performance. but despite the delayed start that made us suffer in hunger, the event was okay. arrived at home at around 12 am!

THURSDAY...

went to eat with my Uni Alumni seniors. watched the soccer tournament between Indonesia and Turkmenistan too. we won with the score of 4-3, but Indonesia really have to try harder because strong Asian countries like Japan and South Korea are waiting ahead. they are all well trained and have a good performance track in the past. okay...why do I have to talk about soccer? I got back at around 11.30 pm

FRIDAY...

HARRY POTTER!!! oooowwwhh yeaaaaahhh! I ran under the Jakarta's cruel sun just to get the ticket in advance. went there with my sister and my ex housemate in Japan, Aji and my sister's friends. arrived home earlier at around 10 and I got the house key with me so it was okay.

btw, the ending was hilarious! but overall the movie was great!!!

(from the pic above, who do you think is the cast with the most suitable look?
I vote for Ron Weasley)
hm...I dont mind becoming Mrs.Malfoy, tho
Ahh... will miss the Harry Potter series for sure. Good job!!!

okay, I'll postponed my other post coz I have to be ready for tomorrow morning. will go to central java with my Mom. yay yay!!

nite nite ☆

'SHORT' updates

So many things to tell, so little motivation to write.
But I wanna share a lil bit of my life after the graduation. And here goes the story...

APRIL 2011
bored on the bed. limited time, limited money, limited transportation, and limited destination. and yeah, I lost all the pictures I took in Japan. nice!

MAY 2011
still bored on the bed. broken-hearted. traveled to central java and talked to my dad's grave. finally decided to challenge myself for a job opportunity and at the end of May, I'm officially employed.

JUNE 2011
turned 23. started the job and felt the excitement once again. received the first payment and felt so great. spent it fast like crazy, ate a lot, shopped a lot. no saving from my first payment, no. not yet.

JULY 2011
back to the society. met a lot of people, attended events, laughed a lot. received my second payment and I felt on top. but still, the emptiness is there, somewhere.

CURRENT
pretty excited for the upcoming Ramadhan. can't wait to save more money. can't wait to manage everything. and on the process to fill the emptiness with something.

I think its short enough to summarize these past 4 months. but took me like an hour to finish this. Ha Ha.

but if you ask me 'do I miss Japan?' then I will surely say...NO. surprised much? I'm fine, totally fine, despite the things about emptiness I mentioned above. because i feel something great, i smell something interesting is waiting for me ahead. cooomeee! cooomeee! I'm so ready for whatever it is!

life is too beautiful to spend it with sadness, my friends ♥

OMG, it's all GONE!!!

Noticed something?

YES!!!

All of my previous posts are gone....

means I have to start everything all over again...

(i hope my face could be as cute as this at the moment)

Hmm... must be a punishment for slacking the blog. Sorry, God. From this moment on, I promise to be a very loyal person.

What?! You don't think I can do it??

Don't worry, cause I don't think I can do it too. Ha Ha.

Adios, 'til the next post!
